What to do? See a Calendars of Events and Festivals. Especially popular are the free weekly Friday night goings-on at Gusto at the Gallery at the Albright-Knox Art Gallery.

An advantage for both locals and tourists that Buffalo has is its nearness to Niagara Falls and Southern Ontario. For a wealth of information, see Niagara Cultural Tourism - Events and Festivals

One of the oldest and largest art and crafts festivals in the country is Buffalo's Allentown Art Festival.

Buffalo's largest tour provider, Buffalo Tours, offers more than 500 guided walking, bus, boat and audio tours annually - and this is only one of many organizations and museums that schedule tours. Frank Lloyd Wright aficionados enjoy the Darwin Martin Complex in the city, as well as the Isabelle Martin summer home, Graycliff, in nearby Derby. Buffalo boasts nine National Historic Landmarks, the highest possible historic designation. See a list of tour providers on Talks & Tours for Buffalo-Niagara
