Members Can Now Adopt Their Favorite Landmark

Got a favorite local landmark? In the built environment? The natural world?

The Landmark Society- now makes it possible for you to honor your favorite. literally to the world, through its newly inaugurated web-based "Adopt Your Favorite Landmark" project.

Here's how it works.

Members select, in order of preference, up to ten of their favorite built or natural landmarks located on the Niagara Frontier. One favorite landmark chosen by each member will have its own webpage containing an image of the property or site and a virtual plaque describing relevant historical, cultural, and architectural information.

All members selecting a particular landmarkwill be listed on the webpage by category of membership to the point that space permits. When space limits have been reached for members' first choice. they will be listed on the webpage of their second or subsequent landmark choice.

Sponsorship of the virtual plaque on each webpage is available only to Niagara Frontier LANDMARKER members ($500 membership level). All members in the INVESTOR/CORPORATE class and above ($75
or more) will be listed with a link to their personal or professional website.

To guarantee your personal landmark, consider membership in the Society at the $500 level and see your name on the plaque.

Individual listings will continue as long as membership continues.

Funds generated by this project are membership based; they do not go toward support of the landmarks chosen by members.

This project was created through the joint efforts of Dennis Galucki, LSNF executive director, and Charles (Chuck) LaChiusa, board member and webmaster. For answers to
