
LSNF publishes new book on the history of Oakland Place
Oakland Place: Gracious Living in Buffalo is the Landmark Society's latest publication, available in bookstores starting in November 2006, after a several-year lapse, of the .
The book doubles as a coffee table book and a local history book.
The author, Martin Wachadlo, gives an overview of the street and its connection to Buffalo's history as a whole, as well as documenting every house on the street.
In addition to many historic photos, there are many full-page color photos taken by LSNF Trustee Chuck LaChiusa (creator of Buffalo Architecture and History).
This book and Garden Walk Buffalo are the first two products of a newly formed publishing company, Buffalo Heritage Unlimited. Both books are available at most local bookstores and also on the Internet
